With the Abu Dhabi project concluded, I’m back in the United States. It’s good to be home — especially in the energy of Manhattan. Today I’m writing from the Rose Reading Room in the New York Public Library. There are few better places in the city to sit and write: the ornate ceilings, oversized west-facing windows, and vintage chandeliers create a uniquely focused atmosphere.

It’s been nearly a year since I last revisited this blog, and reading prior entries offers valuable perspective. Looking back at my last post — written while restless in a hotel room in Abu Dhabi — I’m reminded how much I wanted to be home. Now, reading those reflections from the other side of the experience provides a different kind of motivation: a reminder to keep progressing.
With that, it’s time to get back to work. Until next time.
